Varieties
Iceberg and Leaf (bunching). Iceberg lettuce is the most well-known of the lettuce types and has heads that are firm and covered by loose wrapper leaves. Leaf lettuce does not form heads and has its leaves loosely branching from the stalk.
U.S. Grades
U.S. Fancy, U.S. No. 1, U.S. No. 2.

Sizes
Sizes vary in count but are typically between a 20 and 30 head count per box.
